Koi Garden is one of my favorite spots to go for dim sum, but last night I tried their dinner menu for the first time to celebrate Mother's Day. The food was a bit on the pricey side, but really delicious and mom-approved!
Poached shrimps in broth ($16/lb)
Can't really go wrong with fresh-caught shrimp!
Mandolin Hand-Roasted Squab ($15)
Super succulent and not too fatty.
Stir-fried beef and onions ($16)
Tons of meat...
Prime mushroom with egg tofu ($14)
Loved the circular tofu and hearty mushrooms!

I haven't had squab since I was a kid and remembered it tasting very much like duck but not as fatty. I LOVE all the different types of mushrooms in the last dish! Those lil stringy ones are my favorite!
Koi Garden is related to Koi Palace, no? I haven't been yet! Looks really good.
