Wine has long been referred to as the "nectar of the gods" (think back to the Greeks and their mythology), and Robert Mondavi's Moscato d'Oro really does remind me of nectar! This wonderful wine made from muscat blanc grapes is a must-have for anyone who likes dessert wine. It's remarkably fragrant, with honeysuckle, peach, and apricot flavors, and the sweetness is balanced with a good acidity and crisp finish. Perfect for a fruit-based dessert, or just by itself.

Cool! I'd like to try this sometime. How much does a bottle cost?
Costs about $20-$30 depending on where you get it/if you can find it...
Just came across a 1997 Mondavi Moscato d'Oro. It has been stored properly. I remember buying it, it was intended for consumption closer to the time, not sure how it ended up cellared. My instincts say to pour this out although I'm unsure of what to expect. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
This is indeed a nice wine... though Mead has always been the Nectar of the Gods.
